Born in 1948, Cliff attended Vrije Academie in Den Haag, and Rijks Academie in Amsterdam. He has had the opportunity to participate in various solo expos in Paramaribo, Amsterdam and Curaçao, as well as group expos in Cuba, Nigeria and Barbados. Aside from these he also has his art in private collections in Paramaribo, the Netherlands, Spain, Curaçao, Venezuela, USA, Belgium, France and Guyana.
