Born in Germany in 1945, Sabine attended the Academy in Hamburg and Berlin in Germany and has been a well-known artist in Suriname for many years; she has conducted exhibitions of her work at home and abroad, notably at Molin Rouge, Gallérie Steinhoff, Het Park de Hofstede and de Hal. These have earned her the recognition as a full- fledged artist. She makes various creations of her style of art, which is Mixed Media through oil on canvas. Four examples of her art are named, “Anansi”, “Fish”, “Aquarium”, and “Family”. None of which are based on or an interpretation of other arts. Her work in Suriname dates back before the independence of the country, and she has continued to live and work there even after independence.
