Born in Suriname in 1977, Jaichand attended IOL and the Art Academy, where he studied drawing and is currently a fulltime artist and teaches art. Between 2015 and 2021, he has had the opportunity to exhibit his work at Nationale Kunstbeurs. He makes various creations of his style of art, which is painting with oil and acrylic paint. Usually, the artwork consists of mixed media and paints abstractly and realistically. His material usually consists of oil paint on canvas, but sometimes he uses acrylic paint, stone putty, and canvas. Five examples of his art are named, “Lust rushes but love waits”, “Together forever”, “There is always hope”, “Thank you” and “True happiness comes from within”. None of which are based on or an interpretation of other arts.
